What came first?

I'm not very much into collecting or themes but I will admit to having a few chicken related items, including jewelry. I mainly have the Paraphernaila Chicken claw necklace, the Chicken Fauna bracelet and the Cpt. Poulet necklace. 

But now I have a new must have item.  And, of course it is from Wendy Brandes!  The Chicken on the Nest necklace.

I mean how adorable is that.  This delicate piece is so detailed AND it's mechancial!  All for $150.  Amazing!

Of course, if someone wanted to get me the parent piece, the museum-worthy Hen in the Egg necklace, I wouldn't mind.  RIGHT?!?!

Le Sigh!  Wendy, quit breaking my heart!
